5 Stars Review

A must-have for moms who want to use breast pumps, the YOUHA Flange Guide nipple ruler helps to determine the correct flange or flange insert quickly and give mothers a better breastfeeding experience.

  • Using a correct fitting flange allows for a more comfortable pumping session and efficient expression of breastmilk.
  • The nipple measurement may also change several months into using breast pump and feeding the baby.
  • It is suggested that you measure each of your nipples (both left and right) periodically.
  • Flange size measure for nipples
  • Nipple ruler type
  • Made in silicone
  • Soft, durable design
  • Odorless, non-toxic
  • Lightweight, flexible
  • Does not sting the skin
  • More comfortable than hard plastic tools and more stable than a paper ruler

HOW TO MEASURE FOR ELASTIC NIPPLES?

  • There’s a need to size down if a mother has elastic nipples or size up if a mother has less elastic nipples.
  • If there’s a feeling of discomfort or experiencing consistently reduced volume, then there’s a need to try different sizes.

Care Instructions:

  • Keep the measuring tool clean by wiping with a clean cloth
  • Wash the measuring tool with warm soapy water before and after each use.
  • Store in clean and dry space and avoid direct sunlight exposure
  • Replace the tool when there’s a wear and tear or when the measuring marks are no longer clear

TWO WAYS TO MEASURE YOUR NIPPLE:

HOW TO MEASURE YOUR NIPPLE USING THE CIRCLE ON YOUR SILICONE MEASURING GUIDE:

  • Step 1: Place the nipple through the smallest hole you can comfortably fit it into without force
  • Step 2: Your nipple should fit completely inside the hole. Make sure entire nipple is visible inside the hole right where it meets the areola tissue
  • Step 3: The number in millimeters indicates your nipple diameter. Get your nipple size in the unit of mm, from top to base.
  • Step 4: Measure each nipple individually since nipples are not always the same size

HOW TO MEASURE YOUR NIPPLE USING THE RULER:

  • Step 1: Hold the ruler beside your nipple with 0 lined up on the edge of one side
  • Step 2: The edge on the opposite side of your nipple is the number in millimeters of your nipple diameter
  • Using a correct fitting flange allows for a more comfortable pumping session and efficient expression of breastmilk.
